New Year's Resolutions

New Year, New you, right?! 2022 is here and it's that time again to think about what you want this year to bring you, what you want to achieve throughout the next 12 months and what goals you have? Keep scrolling to see if we have similar goals!

Reading

We all know the feeling of snuggling up with a good book and finding yourself in another world. Reading is actually really good for you - it can help reduce stress (which we all need this year haha), improve your mental health, and potentially help you live longer! So go find that favorite book of yours (or even go get a new one) and get reading!

Save More

Do you have a saving goal? To buy a new house, a new car or even just want to save more money in general? Then maybe 2022 is your year! Trying to be a little more organised and accountable. Simply skipping something like your daily coffee can be all you need to bump up that account.

Fitness/Health

With our busy lives it’s easy to say ‘I don't have enough time’ for exercise or to cook healthy meals. However, simply putting aside 1hr a day for exercise or meal prep allows us to look after our physical health - making us feel better, fitter and more relaxed. Try to stop making excuses this year and stick to your resolutions.. Bring on 2022!

Self care

Self care is something we all need to help get us through these crazy times! And 2022 is the year we should start prioritizing ourselves! It can be as simple as relaxing with a face mask, some positive affirmations, guided meditation or just being grateful for what we have. Engaging in any sort of self-care routine helps reduce stress and anxiety, increase happiness and just improve overall energy.

Organisation

Some people enjoy spending their afternoons organizing every nook and cranny of their home. Others would rather do literally anything but that, and understandably so — it's not for everyone. We all know how frazzled you can feel when things are unorganised, it’s definitely not fun! Keeping things organised can help avoid this feeling. Getting yourself a cute planner could help you keep on top of this resolution!

Be Present - stay off social media

Being present in the moment sounds like an easy goal but living in a fast evolving, tech driven world - social media is becoming a big part of our everyday lives! 2022 is the time to focus on those around us and try to put our phones away more often!

Each day brings new opportunities! Remember that persistence is the key to success, the more you put in the more you will succeed. Don't forget that accomplishing your goals isn't the only important thing, it's also about how much you grow as a person in the process - don't be hard on yourself! Be kind to others, be kind to yourself, you've got this girl!
